To my Aboriginal (Black, Brown, and Indigenous) sisters: you need a doula more than any other woman

This does not mean that other women do not need a doula.

We think everyone woman needs a doula, but let’s be honest, we are not treated right in the healthcare system.

Read Every Mother Counts article, “How Many Black, Brown, & Indigenous People Have To Die Giving Birth” to learn more.

As Latham Thomas says, “Doulas help see through the matrix.”
